Which clients can connect

| Claude Code | One command in the terminal, with an API key. | Available |
| Claude Desktop | An entry in its configuration file, with an API key. | Available |

| Cursor | A few lines in its MCP settings, with an API key. | Available |

| Any MCP-compatible agent | The remote MCP server, or the REST API for your own code, with an API key. | Available |
Two ways to connect:
- With an API key, for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code / GitHub Copilot, Claude Desktop's configuration file, the command line tool and your own code. The setup for each is in MCP server.
- By signing in with Deal Desk, for the ChatGPT app and the click-to-connect Connectors in claude.ai and Claude Desktop. Nothing to paste: you approve the connection in Deal Desk.
Coming soon
Signing in with Deal Desk uses OAuth, which is on its way. Until it is live, the ChatGPT app and the Connectors screens cannot connect. Claude Desktop can connect today through its configuration file, and the OpenAI Responses API can call Deal Desk with an API key; both are in MCP server.
